She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cates and Jewell Cates (Vinson). She is survived by: her siblings, Lewis Cates (Glenda), Missouri Russell Cates (Rita), Texas Evelyn (Kenny Allen) and Missouri Katherine (Norman Ferguson); her granddaughters, Destiny Richardson of Kennett and Missouri Alyssa White Cheyenne; her great grandchildren, Tyson Smith of Holcomb, Missouri Jaxson Ward of Kennett, Jaimeson Ward of Kennett and Missouri Blade White of Marmaduke; her close friend Johnny Brooks; and her sisters, Jane Cain and Jeuy Davidson. She is also survived by Eleven nephews and seven nieces.
