He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Goddard and Beatrice Goddard (Brock); his son Scotty Jones; and his granddaughter Heather Benson. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Goddard of Kennett; his daughter Angie Benson (Mikey) of Kennett; his sister Carolyn Calvary of Batesville; his niece Camille Ladden of North Carolina; his nephew Stan Calvary of Batesville; his grandchildren, Dusti Jones and Jade Jones; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Jones, Heather Jones and Kali Cupp.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the McDaniel Funeral Service - Kennett (115 South Bypass, Kennett, MO 63857). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1724 Southwest Dr, Kennett, MO 63857).
