She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Shipman and Mary Josephine Shipman (Glenn); and her siblings, Marlin, Cliff, Clinton (Shorty), Gene, John, J. C., James Shipman (Pat), Effie Pearson, Ruby Stacey and Bonnie Brashers.
She is survived by: her spouse John S. Owens, Jr. (Snooks); her children, William Hardy Owens (Carolyn) of Villa Ridge and Mary Ann Williams (James Adlie) of Kennett; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Shipman of Rector, Arkansas Ada McHaney of Kennett and Missouri Yoneko McHaney (Tammy) of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by Five grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren.
