It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawson Brents of Kennett, Missouri, born in Scotland, Arkansas, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Columbus Brents and Dora Brents (Crow); his wife Opal Riggs; his son Michael L. Brents; his siblings, Cleo Brents, Coy Brents, Troy Brents, Fred Brents, Carthal Dean Brents, Ozella Freeman and Joy Elliott; and his great grandchild Taylor Clark Chailland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Chailland (Wayne) of Fulton and Donna Nail (Dennis) of Kennett, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Chailland (Malinda) of Harrisonville, Jason Chailland (Keri) of Shawnee, Leslie Quarles of Fenton, Matthew Brents (Jaime) of Munford, David Nail (Catherine) of Thompsons Station, Amber Elliott (Kris) of Tipton and Sixteen of Oklahoma.
