He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Nelson; his children, John, Emily Nelson of Kennett and Laura Carter of Kennett; his siblings, Larry Nelson, Paul Nelson, Gary Nelson, Barbara Scott, Connie Owens and Debra Nelson; and his grandchildren, Dillion (Dusty Swindle), Tyler (Brianna Swindle) and Adelynn Nelson.
