He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Williams and Ruth McDaniel Williams; his wife Sharon Williams; his children, Melinda Thomen and Joel Lee Williams Jr.; and his siblings, Charlie Williams (Tootsie) and Brenda Tucker.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Goodman of Poplar Bluff, Debbie Goodman of Kennett, Teresa Chandler of Kennett, Autumn Keele (Riley) of Russellville, Arkansas, Ron Williams (Ester) of Navarre, Don Williams of Navarre, Jason Williams of Navarre and Stanley Williams of Malden, Missouri; and his siblings, Bill Williams (Jeannie Williams) of St. Charles, Gary Williams (Ruthann) of Cuba, Jerry Williams of Gideon, Missouri and Mary Lou (Jingo Cole) of Kennett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
