He is survived by: his wife Velma Adkins of Kennett; his sons, Jim Adkins (Marie) of McKinney, TX, Barry Adkins (Lisa) of Patuxent, MD and Calvin Adkins (Tammy) of Kennett; and his grandchildren, Barry Adkins, Jr. (Kristen), Christopher Adkins, Jonathan Adkins (Colleen), Amanda Adkins, Jacob Adkins (Ashley), Jacquelyn Adkins and Rachel Adkins. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
