He was predeceased by: his father L. H. Pender; and his nephews, John Eric Hawkins and Chad Hawkins. He is survived by: his mother Janice Pender-Greer (Jordan) of Paragould, Arkansas; his children, Reece Pender of Eureka, Missouri, Jordan Pender of Eureka and Grace Pender of Memphis; his grandson Jax Pender; his sister Donna Hawkins (Curtis) of Monette, Arkansas; and his niece Keri Shrabel of Manila, Arkansas. He is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
The family suggests memorials in Mark's memory to be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis (where he volunteered) or to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
