He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Pearson McClendon and Olive Ogle McClendon; and his former spouse Kerry Lea Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Springer; his sons, Mark McClendon (Amy) of Kennett and Casey McClendon (Karen) of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Pearson McClendon (Hannah) of Manilla, Addy McClendon and Isla McClendon.
