He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Owens Sr. and Clara Perry Owens; and his wife Pearlie Mae Seals. He is survived by: his children, Geneva Stewart of Hayti, Dorothy Johnson of Kennett, Rosetta Dawson of St. Louis, Katie Guyton of St. Louis, Ollie Seals of St. Louis, Elmira Parker of Chicago, Illinois and Johnny Seals of Fulton, Missouri; his sister Inez Harris of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his niece Emma Jean Hubbard of Hayti. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
