He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher "Buck" Rice and Lessie Ann Rice (Hicks); his sisters, Lisa Cochran and Nelda Woodard; and his grandchild Deamon Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Jeffery Rice of Tennessee and Lessie Long (Patrick) of Kennett, Missouri.; and his brother Lanny Rice of St. Louis.
