He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Tilley and Vevie Drye Tilley; and his siblings, Maxine Robey, Floy Jean Robey, Leonora Bost, Lula Jackson, Carl Tilley, Gerald Tilley, Charles Tilley and Robert Tilley.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ashby; his sons, David Andrews of Jackson and Greg Andrews of Sikeston, Missouri; and his siblings, Gale Bess of Dexter, Katherine Hopkins of Bloomfield, Missouri, J. W. Tilley of Bloomfield, Kenneth Tilley of Van Buren, Larry Tilley of Essex and William Merrick of Ridgeview, Michigan. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and by three great-grandchildren.
