He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harvey Vavak, Sr. and Dessie Vavak (Stevens); and his brothers, Jack Vavak (Shirley) and Bill Vavak (Mabel). He is survived by: his wife Judith Daum of Kennett; his children, Tom Vavak (Debbie) of Kennett and Juli Vavak of Germantown, Tennessee.; his grandsons, Jake Vavak (Justi) and Zachary Vavak (Katie); his great grandchildren, Cael, Tyler, Leo, Adaline and Raylyn; and his siblings, Paul Vavak (Judy) of Kennett, Missouri. and Betty Fisk (John) of Sikeston.
