He was predeceased by: his parents, Velmar Linn Folkes and Maybell Folkes (Taylor); and his son Carl "Ronnie" Folkes, II. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gurlen of Kennett, Missouri.; his children, Timothy Blankenship (Felicia) of Jonesboro, Clyde Matthew Folkes of Kennett, Missouri. and Janet Lee Eastburn (Paul) of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his siblings, Don Folkes of Paragould, Arkansas., Faye Garcia of Arnold, Janet Counts of Springfield and Fourteen of Missouri. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
