He was predeceased by: his parents, Earley Estes and Geraldean Estes (Yount); his daughter-in-law Sandy Estes; his brothers, Hubert Estes and Bob Estes; and his grandson Michael Edgin.
He is survived by: his former wife Flora Helen Dempsey; his wife Helen Estes of Kennett, Missouri.; his sons, Billy Don Estes of Kennett and Wade Estes (Stephanie) of White Oak, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Kelsi Estes, Wyatt Estes and John Edgin (Shae); his great grandchildren, Lainey Estes, Carlie Estes, Rylee Estes, Waylon Edgin and Wesson Edgin; and his sisters, Sue Hill of Piggott and Mildred Sartine of South Haven, Mississippi..
