It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Essner of Kelso, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Essner and Marian Essner (Ressel); his sister Theresa; and his brother-in-law Sandy Beckham. He is survived by: his wife Becky Ernst; his sons, Brent (Malerie) of Jackson and Blake (Christina) of Cape Girardeau; his siblings, Danny (Debbie), Doug (Leslie) of Cape, David of Kelso and Donna Scherer (Chris) of Scott City; his grandchildren, Brendan, Parker, Maebry and Ellie Essner; and also, Ben Ernst (Debi), Barb Haveman (Bob), Bill Ernst (Toni), Betty Beckham and Bev Buster (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Augustine School, Notre Dame Regional High School, or Providence Hospice at the Lutheran Home.
