He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Schmitz and Debbi Schmitz (Berry); his wife Ellen; his sons, Andy (Lindsey) of Columbia, MO, Kevin of Colorado Springs, CO and Jayson of Charlottesville, VA; his grandsons, Matthew, John, Trevor and Henry; and his brother Doug Schmitz (Tammie). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
