She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whitaker and Navetta Whitaker (Munnerlyn); her husband William; her sons, Garrett and Bill; and her sister Betty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gall (James) of Liberty and Cheryl Gore (Terry); and her siblings, Ann Beard of North Carolina and Sonny Whitaker of North Carolina.
