Michael James Barmann Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael James Barmann in Kearney, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael James Barmann to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Barmann and Patricia Dianne Cassidy; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Angela Diane Darby; his sons, Adam (Ashley) and Brian (Kristina); his brothers, Mark (Marlena) and Terry (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Harper, Kendall, Jaxson and Avery.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (407 Cherry St, Weston, MO 64098). A rosary was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery (8875 MO-371, St Joseph, MO 64507).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Catholic charity of your choice in Mike's memory.

Even so, every time we interacted over the last several years, he was happy, friendly and genuinely glad to see me again and talk! No doubt he will be missed greatly!
