He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Harmsen and Louise Harmsen; and his former wife Betty. He is survived by: his children, Debby Harmsen, Tim Chase (Stacy), Valerie Chase and Todd Chase; his grandchildren, Tyler, Dillon, Noah, Ryan and Alex; his great grandchildren, Kallen and Bentlee; and his siblings, Howard Harmsen (Janice) and Marrietta Comer (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home (208 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
