He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Thompson Pickett and Naomi Francis Pickett (Koontz); and his son Christopher Hugh Pickett. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Ann Bruner (Pickett) of Kearney, Missouri; his wife Nancy Pickett of Kearney, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Heather Pickett (Chris) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Sina, Mara, Ian, Molly, Talia and Megan; his stepsister Lisa Eckert (Danny); his sister-in-law Roberta Pickett (David) of Pioneer, California; and his niece Brandi Clark (Mike) of Pioneer, California..
