He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Marybelle Johnson (King) and Frank Johnson; and his siblings, Mary Jane Simmons, Phyllis Bartlett, Walter Johnson and Roger Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dotty" Johnson; his children, Chopper Johnson (Beth) and Crystal Johnson (Lynne Baumhoff); and his grandchildren, Clint Johnson, Sammi Clay (Jeremy), Sarah Reynolds (Travis) and Jaci Middleton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials and contributions to the Kearney Senior Center.
