He was predeceased by: his mother Lue E. Pennington; his uncle John Lee; and his brothers, Jimmy Bailey and Curtis Lee Graves (PeeWee). He is survived by: his cousin Geraldine Coleman; his siblings, John Pegues (Kenny), Richard Pennington, Mary, Ethel, Shirley Pennington, LaTonya Pegues, Violet Rice and Linda Franklin; and his cousins, Paul Coleman and Paulette Garnett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
