He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wurtz and Gladys Wurtz; and his wife Linda Jean Keith. He is survived by: his children, Alisa Longhofer (Pat) and Lawrence Wurtz (Valerie); his grandchildren, Nathan Longhofer, Benjamin Longhofer (Olivia) and Petralie Jo Wurtz; and his sister Ada Greeley.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northland Cathedral (101 NW 99th St, Kansas City, MO 64155). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
