He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Nellums and Alice Nellums; and his wife Nancy Lee Nellums. He is survived by: his sons, William B. "Dude" Nellums Jr. (Stacey) and C. J. Nellums (Kelly); his grandsons, Cody and Jesse Nellums; his sister Fredressa Whittenburg; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce West (Elaine), Jim West (Mary) and Pat Woods (Dave).
