It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Wingate in Kansas City, Missouri, born in California, Missouri, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Wingate and Elsie C. Hegg Wingate; and his nephew Stephen J. Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his stepson Zachary W. Brockman (Michelle); his granddaughter Zoe M. Brockman; his sister Freda J. Wingate Hayes (Leo); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Schnakenberg (Richard) and Mark Luetjen (Janet). He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
