We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, Terry Deister (Kansas City, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Deister and Madge Deister (Davis); his son Christopher Deister; and his sister Barbara Ann Deister. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Deister; his children, Kim Deister (Kevin Kirchner), Teri Deister, Bryan Deister (Reesa) and Nicole Deister-Campbell (Josh); his brothers, Mike Deister and Jim Osborn (Sue); and his grandchildren, Kirby Shifflett (Nick), Cory Shifflett (Taylor), Andrew Garcia (Ashlie), Brittany Parson (Josh), Kiya, Brandon (Amber) and Jessica (Parker). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (3106 Flora Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
