In the vast expanse of eternity, Teresa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Teresa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Owens and Alice Owens (Klischp); and her brother Robert Owens. She is survived by: her children, Alisha Lavo (Nic) of Oak Grove, MO and Evan Lavo of Kansas City, MO; her granddaughter Lauren Lavo of Grain Valley, MO; and her brother David Owens of Mexico.
A reception was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the same location.
