He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Phillips and C. Jack Phillips; and his brother Jack Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Lenaira (Brandon Day), Russell (Kelli Phillips), Lauren Phillips and Lindsay (Jestin Mann); his grandchildren, Steffen, Keaton, Aundria and Harrison Day; his children, Molly, Ty Pratt, Rhett, Vivian Phillips, Hank, Sally and Teddy Mann; his great grandchildren, Layla, Willow, Marlee Jo Day and Daisy Pratt; his sisters, Pam Rowe (Marc) and Jensine Kinate (Dan); his sister-in-law Dona Phillips-Proffitt (Jim Proffitt); and his cousin Rick Lichty (Reva). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Heartland Church of Christ (6120 NW Prairie View Rd, Kansas City, MO 64151). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Heartland Church of Christ (6210 NW Prairie View Rd, Kansas City, MO 64151). His family will continue to enjoy gathering around their fire pit on their large swings, a family building project Ted proudly oversaw during COVID.
