It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Ruhlman (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Stockton, Kansas, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Ruhlman; and her children, Marilyn Spero and Jerry Ruhlman. She is survived by: her children, John Ruhlman Jr. (Tara), Jim Ruhlman (Debbie), Leo Ruhlman (Mary Kay) and Kathy Barbeau (Dave); and her son-in-law Nick Spero. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (900 NE Shady Ln Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118). Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5001 NE Cookingham Dr, Kansas City, MO 64156).
