It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Daniels (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sarah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Almeta Townsend and Raymond Townsend; her sisters, Joetta Scott, Yolanda Townsend and Chiquita Townsend; and her children, Robert Townsend, Maurice Daniels and Minyun Daniels.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Daniels; her daughter Dawn Jones; her son-in-law Kenneth Jones Sr.; and her stepson Marcus Daniels. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of sisters and brother-in-law. also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64130). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
