He is survived by: his wife Eddie Mae; his children, Rebecca Butts (Bryan Ray), Roosevelt Jermaine Butts "Jamie" (L. Golden Butts) and Michael Johnson; his great grandchild Erron Butts; his grandchildren, JeBria Byrd, Jermaine Butts, Erron Butts Jr., Tylan Strong, DiCarlo Jackson and DiLayah Jackson; and his siblings, Roy, James, Brenda, Linda and Theresia Jean.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64130). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
