He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Peek "Doc" Felkner and Irene Grace Felkner (Boyd); his parents-in-law, W. M. Richards and Elizabeth G. Richards; and his siblings-in-law, Mary G Richards, Betty Dunhaupt (Richards) and John Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, Sally Swanson (David), Amy Kirkpatrick (Rory) and Barry Felkner; his grandchildren, Sophia, Alyssa Swanson, Ben, Betsy, Annie Kirkpatrick, Brett and Skyler Felkner; his siblings, James Felkner (Sandy) and Claudia Kretsinger (John); and his sister-in-law Joan Richards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (6900 Ward Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64113). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 3600 W 87th St, Leawood, KS 66206.
