It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodger Dale Nichols of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Guy" Nichols and Geneva Durham-Peters; his stepmother Fay Nichols; his brother Larry Nichols; his nephew Craig Nichols; his niece Jenny Findley; and his in-laws, John and Dorothy Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Nichols; his children, Marcus Nichols, Jeremy Nichols, Ashley Neill (Robert) and Sarah Heiman (Matthew); his stepfather Darrel Peters; and his siblings, Virginia "Darlene" Mustion, Diane Simons, Rickey Nichols and Dean Peters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
