He was predeceased by: his parents, Noe Sr. and Paula Alaniz; and his siblings, Noe Alaniz Jr., Rafael Alaniz, Anna Marie Garcia and Elisa Maria Alaniz.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse Alaniz (Liz), Reynaldo Alaniz, Ricardo Alaniz, Joseph Alaniz (Olivia), Lydia Alaniz, Maria Elena Alaniz, Consuelo Alaniz (Jason) and Paula Alaniz; and his siblings-in-law, John Garcia, Sr. and Rosie Alaniz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a great-great niece.
