She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvie Walker and Gladys Walker (Wallace); her husband Burton Richey of Corning; her brothers, Hugh Walker (Phyllis) and Glen Walker; her brothers-in-law, Joesph Richey (Margie) and Lewis Roberts; and her great grandchild Jackson Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Julee Sherman (Jeff) of Fayette, MO and Scott Richey (Cindy) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Matthew Sherman (Stasia) of Fayette, MO, Ryan Sherman (Nicole) of Glasgow, MO, Joseph Richey of Seattle, WA and Laura Richey of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Graham, Nash, Will, Charlotte and Tripp; her sister Dona Miller (George) of Springfield, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Naomi Walker of Stanberry, MO and Mary Lou Roberts of Lawrence, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Cross United Methodist Church (1321 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Nodaway Memorial Gardens.
