He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Gieseke and Ethel Gieseke (Leimkuhler); and his brothers, Edwin and John. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Marie Calder; his children, David Gieseke (Carole) of Ames, IA, Joyce Hisel (Dane) of Platte City, Dan Gieseke (Holly) of Columbia, Lauren Gieseke of Denver, CO, Drew Gieseke (Annie) of Houston, TX, Steve Gieseke (Heather) of Brooklyn, NY and Heath Hisel (Platte City); and also Zoe Gieseke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church (5047 NW Gateway Ave, Riverside, MO 64150). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the East Slope Memorial Garden Cemetery (5011 NW Gateway Ave, Riverside, MO 64150).
