He is survived by: his wife Sally Groves; his former spouses, Nancy Lotter, Dave Firnhaber (Sally) and Susan Timmer (Craig); his stepson Rob Groves; and his grandchildren, Lily, Matthew, Tom Firnhaber, JT (Katie), Kirsten Timmer, Cole, Harrison, Sean Barr, Eleanor and Whittaker Groves.
