He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Byers (Doris Byers) and Melinda Byers; and his brothers, Kevin Byers, Willie Bell Byers and Kent Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph E. Byers (Kenneshea), Tyrone Davis (Marquita), Tynesia Davis and Takesia Strickland; his grandchildren, Joi Byers and Kennedy Byers; and his siblings, Jan Eddy, Rhonda McCray (Mike) and Micheal Byers (Tina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Cleaver II Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64130). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
