With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Jacob Nelson in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Nelson and Eugene Nelson; and his siblings, Terry (Linda) and Cynthia. He is survived by: his wife Marie Truty; his children, Scott and Kristin Nelson (Jimmy Rogers); his grandchildren, Phoebe, Devon, Luc and Callum; and his brother Todd (Barb). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's or Diabetes Association.
