He was predeceased by: his father Frank J. Fontana; and his brother Thomas F. Fontana. He is survived by: his nephews, Michael Fontana (Violet) and Paul Fontana; his niece Beth Fontana (Scott Spreitler); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Polchowski, Stella Solliday (Norman) and Edwina Fontana; and his friends, Steve Smith and Beth Ann Peterson.
