He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold "Pappy" and Irene Marks; his grandparents, Dean and Goldie Marks; his former wife Betty Wearne; his children, John Eugene, Susan Marie and James Brian Dudley; his wife Marie "Sug" Marks; his children, Perry Dean "Bud" Marks, Jr., John Dudley of Kansas City, Susan Conoley of Topeka, KS, Lynn (Matt Boddington) and Bruce (Elaine Marks); his brother Robert Marks of Phoenix, AZ.; and also Chris Hildebrandt.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans in care of the funeral home.
