Norma Alicia Raya Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Norma Alicia Raya of Kansas City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Espiridion Moran and Soledad Galaviz-Moran; her husband Porfirio Raya, Sr.; her brothers, Aurthur and Espiridion Jr.; her parents-in-law, Clemente and Ramona; her siblings-in-law, Joseph, Catalina, Antionette, Pauline and Kathy; and her niece Olivia.
She is survived by: her sons, Porfirio Jr. and Louis Joseph; her daughter-in-law Andrea Rose; her granddaughters, Maricela Soledad and Alicia Helen; and her siblings, Frank, Joe Louis, Toribio (Elizabeth), Jose Osvaldo, Ramiro (Maria Cecilia), Jose Armando (Susan), Anthony (Lisa) and Melba. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Parish (2 E 75th St, Kansas City, MO 64114).
Memorial donations in Norma's memory may be directed to The University of Kansas Cancer Institute or the American Cancer Society.
