Ford (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Lee Ford, Sr. and Alice Ford; his wife Shirley J. Ford (Spriggs); his siblings, Barbara Goldman (Ford), Gabriel Lee Ford, Jr., Preston Ford, Sr., George Ford and Augusta Ford; his grandson Walter Brandon Coppage; and his great grandchild Jonas Tolbert.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Hayes (Verne) of Little Rock, Walter Coppage (Rocky) of Kansas City, Kimberly Logan (Gerald) of Independence and Alisa Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Tracy Hayes, Lawrence Hayes, Donnell Gilyard, Kelli Turner, Kymbr Logan, Kameshia Logan, Chandelin Chase, Montel Chase, Chamone Summers and Dominique Summers. He is also survived by Great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
