He is survived by: his former wife Frances Bingert; his friends, Fran, Mike and Marita Abner; his wife Marita; his children, Molly (John Carreyrou), Katrina Eaton (Brad), Emily Hodges (Rich) and Nikolaus (Shelby Smith); his siblings, JoAnn Weston, Gert Sargent (Jon) and Jim Schuetz (Carol); and his grandchildren, Sebastian, Jack, Francesca, Isaac, Thomas and James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stuart Hall (2121 Central St, Kansas City, MO 64108). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Visitation Parish (5141 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64112).
