We bid farewell to Mary Louise Hernandez of Kansas City, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2025 at the age of 62. Mary Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry L. Holland; and her parents, June C. Holland and Albert Holland. She is survived by: her significant other Lanny Mastin; her children, Chad Stewart (Chelle), Danielle Hernandez (Travis Herrmann), Anthony Hernandez (Megan) and Haley Heinz (Mason); her sister Vanessa Bowerman; her grandchildren, Zach, Chloe, Alexandrea, Kennedy, Gottlieb and Lorelei; her cousins, Terresa, Jeff and Nicolas Winch; and her pet Mozzie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt Washington Cemetery (614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to KC Pet Project (https://kcpetproject.org) as Mary was actively involved with donating every month.
