She was predeceased by: her nieces, Mary Lou and Mary Theresa; her husband Walter J. Accurso; her parents, Nick Charmella and Lucy Charmella; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Raphael Accurso; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Accurso; her brothers, Joseph (Josephine Charmella) and Angelo (Ruth Charmello); and her siblings-in-law, Catherine and Joe LaSala.
She is survived by: her friend Sugie Donnici-DiCapo; her children, Anita McGuire (Don), Cathy Accurso-Hadley (Art) and Joseph Accurso; her grandchildren, Michael McGuire, Joseph McGuire, Mary McGuire and Charlie Rose Accurso; and her great grandchildren, Enzo McGuire and Koto McGuire. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
