She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Utke and Ruth Hannaford Utke; her husband Howard "Dean" DeWitt; her stepson Davin Chevalier; and her parents-in-law, Ralph and Florence DeWitt.
She is survived by: her children, Drew DeWitt of Minneapolis, MN and Paige DeWitt of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Jillian DeWitt of St. Louis, MO, Brix and Bella DeWitt of Minneapolis, MN; her sister Sharon Utke Carlos of Colorado Springs, CO; her stepmother Crystal Tollefson Utke of Moorhead, MN; her cousins, Jeff, Anne King of Hot Springs, AR, Lynn and Marcia Utke of Enderlin, ND; and her pets, Jupiter, Jake and Simplicity. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
