It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malachi Brewer of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Kensett, Arkansas, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Brewer and Gertrude Brewer (Floyd); and his siblings, Alfred Smith, Clyde Smith, Hubert Smith, Earl Brewer, Ben Brewer, Zera Baker (Smith), Glendora Brewer (Smith), Wilma Clark (Smith), Ethel Haynes (Smith) and Zelma Harris (Brewer).

He is survived by: his daughter LaTonya; his wife Helen Brewer; his brother Titus Brewer (Onna) of Searcy, Arkansas; his daughters, Barbette Brewer of Kansas City, MO. and Latonya Brewer of Kansas City, MO.; his grandsons, Maurice Brewer (Kimberly), Rafiel Hendren, Kevin Brewer and Malcolm Brewer; his great grandchildren, Kaiden Williams-Brewer of Kansas City, Missouri. and Kiah Williams-Brewer of Kansas City, Missouri.; his daughters, Cassandra Parnell of Kansas City and Jessica Castorena of Sacramento, California; and his grandchildren, Victoria Gilmore of Sacramento, California, Janessa Gilmore of Sacramento, California and Isaiah Gilmore of Sacramento, California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
