She is survived by: her husband Robert Cates, Sr.; her sister Leona Malone (Mike); her children, Debra Myers (Robert), Russell Roderick (Carol) and Randall Roderick (Jeanna); and her stepchildren, Mike Cates (Christina), Robert Cates, Jr. (Dawn), Randy Cates and Deanna Wantz (Luke).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Longview Funeral Home (12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Longview Cemetery (12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149).
